J & S Immo is a locally owned and operated agency. We are situated in Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure, a lively market town in the heart of the sunny Poitou-Charente region.
We sell all types of property in the local vicinity and now stretching our wings further north into the Vienne and Deux Sévres, further south into the Dordogne and south Charente.
Our personal service and extensive experience helps purchasers find their ideal French property; be that a chateau, riverside mill, bed-and-breakfast opportunity, lock-up-and-leave holiday cottage or even a fishing lake.
Chasseneuil-Sur-Bonnieure is just 25 minutes north of the regions capital Angouleme, and 45 minutes from Limoges. Both cities have a TGV train station and an airport.
Angouleme is a charming city of art and history, with superb architecture and good shopping. It hosts a variety of regular events, including a yearly film festival, food festivals, the circuit des ramparts? famous classic-car-racing weekend, the renowned annual comedy festival and much more.
Limoges also has a lot to offer and is famous for its porcelain and superb markets, its airport offers discounted flights to and from the UK and other destinations, and is just 45 minutes from our office.

Just 25 minutes south-east of Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure are the borders of the national park area of the Dordogne-Limousin, with its breath-taking countryside and famous market towns of Nontron and Piegut-Pluviers. To the south-west are outstandingly pretty villages, such as Aubeterre sur Dronne.
Approximately 45 minutes north is the city of Poitiers, which also has an airport.
Bordeaux is 90 minutes south-west and beaches of La Rochelle and Royan are less than two hours away.

Simon Hammer: British, with a background in engineering and has lived in the area for almost two decades. Much of this time he has worked as a real-estate agent, together with Clare they have renovated two properties and have managed many other building projects and has a keen interest in restoring old cars and sailing on the big lakes and around the islands of the Charente Maritime and Vendee region
Justine Viroulaud: French, she is the Gerant of the company with years of experience in French property transactions and a degree in French property law and related subjects. Born locally, Justine knows the area and the people like the back of her hand, Justine brings in some superb restoration properties onto our books and she lives near the big lakes and enjoys walking her big dog Nala in the woods
Jenny Bentley:Loves France! She has lived and worked in the heart of Poitou Charente for 10 years and has bought and renovated 2 traditional houses from the ground up, evicted snakes and rehomed "loirs". Fluent in french, Jenny has a large portfolio of properties in the Deux Sevres, Vienne and north Charente and can help you seamlessly through the buying process from beginning to end.

Clare Nicholls - Clare Simons partner is based in and around the Chasseneuil sur Bonnieure she has extensive Equine knowledge and understanding for land requirements and has a very good understanding for building design and methods, she will be able to advise on renovation, design, costings and timescale having carried out considerable renovations herself and overseen many projects, Clare has a broad sector going north towards Verteuil sur Charente, Confolens on the Vienne River, west towards the coast and east to Rochechouart and beyond and down to the Northern Dordogne borders
Lewis Stevens - Lewis has been in France for 10 years now, he has hands on experience in his field for extensive complete restoration and re- furbishment, he is an excellent plasterer and general builder and can turn his hand to any almost building related jobs, he will always tell you what might be involved in a restoration and has an excellent eye for ideas in your French home to be. He lives and works in the little town of Mareuil en Périgord in the northern Dordogne and has a good selection of property in his area going east towards Perigeux, North towards Montbron, south beyond Riberac and Aubeterre.
Lewis has keen interest in his work and sailing and has a young family.
